With sleeping bags, backpacks and journals in hand, the students pile into buses and say goodbye to computers and television. It’s a week of fellowship, creativity and good old-fashioned fun.
Electives Additional learning opportunities are offered to students through a set of diverse electives. Examples include: Creative Writing, Art, Singing, Playing an Instrument, Public Speaking, Bible, History of Technology, Science Olympiad, Computer, Spanish, Research, Prom Committee, Career Search, and Yearbook with Photography and Graphic Arts.
Art Studies have shown that individuals who have been encouraged in creative expression have higher test scores, are more adept at thinking critically and problem solving, and are better prepared for future life changes. That’s why promoting creativity is a priority at Trinity.
“When our boys came back from camp, they couldn’t stop talking about what a great experience it was. It’s like they’ve known their classmates for years, not weeks. They look forward to going to school because they really enjoy the creative, caring environment at Trinity.”- Mrs. Bell
